XCF
XCF is an image-editing format used for artwork and layered designs. Converting it to a common image format makes the finished picture easier to view and share.
SVG
SVG is useful for logos, icons and illustrations that need to scale cleanly. Exporting to PNG or JPG gives you a fixed-size image for apps that cannot open SVG.
Layered artwork is exported as a flattened image. Editable layers are not preserved.
SVG embeds the image by default. Vector tracing creates editable paths but simplifies colours and shapes; it does not reproduce photos exactly.
For files with multiple pages or frames, choose whether to keep them together, select one or export separate files. The destination format must support your choice.

Will converting XCF to SVG improve image quality?
