What should I do if my text does not fit?

Choose ordinary Aztec for more capacity, or QR if people will open a link with their phone camera. Do not remove important data just to make it fit, and check the result at its intended printed size.

How do I check the code before printing?

Leave the white margins intact, keep the image in proportion and scan a sample at its final printed size with the device you intend to use.

Compact Aztec code generator

Make a Compact Aztec code for a short label or reference and download PNG or SVG.

Using Compact Aztec Code

Compact Aztec is a smaller-capacity form of Aztec for space-limited labels. It can hold text, unlike Aztec Runes, which only hold a number from 0 to 255. The code grows as you add data; shrinking the image does not increase its capacity.

Download PNG for documents or SVG for a sharp, resizable print layout. Generation takes place in your browser, without an account.
