GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked barcode generator (RSS Expanded Stacked)
Make a narrower, multi-row product barcode with GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked. Download PNG or SVG for your label layout.
Using GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked
GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked, formerly RSS Expanded Stacked, puts Expanded data into several rows to save label width. It can carry weight, batch and expiry information for compatible retail systems. It is not the GTIN-only GS1 DataBar Stacked format. The encoder arranges rows and adds required field separators automatically.
Download PNG for documents or SVG for a sharp, resizable print layout. Generation takes place in your browser, without an account.
Questions about GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked
- Should I split the data or resize each row myself?
- No. Enter the complete GS1 data once and keep the generated rows, separators and margins together. The number of rows depends on the data; it is not always two. For example, (01)09521234543213(17)271231(10)LOT123 adds an expiry date and batch to the GTIN. Use actual product data, check retailer requirements and test the final printed size.
- How do I check the code before printing?
- Leave the white margins intact, keep the image in proportion and scan a sample at its final printed size with the device you intend to use.
