Royal Mail Mailmark 2D barcode generator
Generate a rectangular Royal Mail Mailmark 2D barcode from prepared mailing data and download PNG or SVG. This page uses Type 29, not a four-state Mailmark barcode.
Using Royal Mail Mailmark 2D
Mailmark 2D carries structured information for Royal Mail mail processing. Here, Type 29 produces a 48 × 16-module Data Matrix. Extra customer data can follow the 45-character header if it fits. The tool draws the supplied data; it does not assign postal identifiers, validate an address or book a mailing.
Download PNG for documents or SVG for a sharp, resizable print layout. Generation takes place in your browser, without an account.
Questions about Mailmark 2D
- Does generating this barcode make my mail ready to send?
- No. Use data prepared for your Royal Mail service and check the fields, printed size and placement before mailing. A generated image is not proof of postal acceptance. For an ordinary website link, use a QR code instead.
- How do I check the code before printing?
- Leave the white margins intact, keep the image in proportion and scan a sample at its final printed size with the device you intend to use.
