Royal Mail RM4SCC barcode generator
Create a Royal Mail 4-State Customer Code (RM4SCC) for UK mail layouts and tests. Enter prepared destination data and download the barcode as PNG or SVG.
Using Royal Mail RM4SCC
RM4SCC puts destination data into the four bar shapes used for automated mail sorting. It is also called the Customer Barcode (CBC). It is not a parcel tracking number or a Mailmark barcode; choose the separate Mailmark generator if your mailing specification requires that format.
Download PNG for documents or SVG for a sharp, resizable print layout. Generation takes place in your browser, without an account.
Questions about Royal Mail RM4SCC
- Can this create a shipping label from a UK address?
- No. Prepare the postcode and delivery point suffix (DPS) from your mailing data first. This tool draws the barcode; it does not look up addresses or DPS values, pay postage, book a shipment or activate tracking.
- What should I check before posting?
- Use the barcode type required for your mailing. Check bar dimensions, clear space and position against Royal Mail’s specifications, then print a sample at the final size. A generated image alone does not establish postal acceptance.
