No. Reading the product number does not mean a scanner can read the upper component. The scanner and receiving software must support GS1 Composite to use the extra fields. If you only need the GTIN, choose ordinary GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional. Test the complete printed label with the intended equipment.

How do I check the code before printing?

Leave the white margins intact, keep the image in proportion and scan a sample at its final printed size with the device you intend to use.
