GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked Composite Generator

Create a narrower GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked composite label with product, weight, expiry and batch data. Download PNG or SVG.

A narrower composite label without squeezing the bars

This format arranges the lower Expanded barcode into multiple rows to reduce its width, with a separate 2D component above. In the example, the rows hold the GTIN and net weight; the upper part holds expiry and batch. The encoder creates the rows and separators for you. It is not the GTIN-only DataBar Stacked Composite format.

Download PNG for documents or SVG for a sharp, resizable print layout. Generation takes place in your browser, without an account.

Questions about Expanded Stacked Composite

Should I split the input into a line for each row?
No. Enter the lower component as one continuous GS1 string before | and the upper component after it. The encoder arranges the lower rows; their number depends on the data. Keep the entire generated label together instead of resizing individual rows. Use this format when the receiving system requires it, and test the print with GS1 Composite-compatible scanning software and equipment.
How do I check the code before printing?
Leave the white margins intact, keep the image in proportion and scan a sample at its final printed size with the device you intend to use.
