Make a barcode for an existing coupon offer

GS1 North American Coupon uses GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked to encode a coupon offer for compatible checkout systems. The (8110) prefix identifies coupon data, not a product GTIN. This page draws the barcode from a prepared data string; it does not build the offer from a price or percentage.

Download PNG for documents or SVG for a sharp, resizable print layout. Generation takes place in your browser, without an account.

GS1 coupon barcode questions

Will the generated barcode create a redeemable discount?
No. Use data approved by the brand or coupon issuer. Generating an image does not register an offer, authorize redemption or check a retailer’s database. The example is for testing, not shopping. This format accepts a single (8110) field; it is not the separate (8112) digital coupon format. Keep all rows and white margins intact and test the final printed coupon.
How do I check the code before printing?
Leave the white margins intact, keep the image in proportion and scan a sample at its final printed size with the device you intend to use.
