Code 93 Extended barcode generator

Make Code 93 Extended barcodes for mixed-case reference numbers and labels. Download PNG or SVG.

Using Code 93 Extended

Code 93 Extended, also called Code 93 Full ASCII, adds lowercase letters and other ASCII characters to ordinary Code 93. It uses combinations of barcode characters, so some text makes a wider code. Your reader must decode the Extended format correctly.

Download PNG for documents or SVG for a sharp, resizable print layout. Generation takes place in your browser, without an account.

Questions about Code 93 Extended

Why does my scanner show different characters?
Check whether the reader supports Code 93 Extended and whether its Full ASCII mode is enabled. Test that the scanned result matches your input exactly, including letter case. This format does not support all languages; for multilingual text, choose QR and test it with the intended reader.
How do I check the code before printing?
Leave the white margins intact, keep the image in proportion and scan a sample at its final printed size with the device you intend to use.
