EAN-14 barcode generator for GTIN-14
Create a GS1-128 label for a GTIN-14 with EAN-14; download PNG or SVG.
Using EAN-14
Here, EAN-14 means a GS1-128 barcode containing only a GTIN-14 product identifier. It is not an EAN-13 barcode with an extra digit. Use the identifier assigned to your product or packaging; this tool creates an image, not a registered product number.
Download PNG for documents or SVG for a sharp, resizable print layout. Generation takes place in your browser, without an account.
Questions about EAN-14
- Should I choose EAN-14, ITF-14 or GS1-128?
- Choose this EAN-14 option when your system requires a GTIN in GS1-128 format. If your carton specification calls for ITF-14, choose ITF-14 instead. To include a batch number or expiry date as well, choose GS1-128. The same GTIN can appear in different barcode formats; use the one your receiving system expects.
- How do I check the code before printing?
- Leave the white margins intact, keep the image in proportion and scan a sample at its final printed size with the device you intend to use.
